Don't expect to shoot your way through the crowds of infected.
Maintain your train in operating condition and craft valuable items from the resources you scavenge. Infected are ready to stop your progress whenever you exit the train to look for supplies. Survive for as long as you can by riding the rails, and finding supplies along the way. A post-apocalyptic adventure about travelling a dying world on a train Sometimes people can be more trouble than they're worth. The real question is whether or not you'll help the survivors get to their destinations. And now that you've got thousands of tonnes of locomotive at your disposal, ready to take you as far down the tracks as you have fuel to feed it, you've got the definite advantage over the infected hordes. The developers should have pimped at least all text-related things to a readable size, but of course there are allot more of 'shoulds' not done and left this somehow nice game close to a train wreck on console in my opinion! If you get it discounted at 1/3 price, it's certainly worth a try or even playthrough.But it's not quite over for you. So, in the end and as much as I Iike the game in general, it is not worth 15 $/€ but should be around 5 $/€. Unfortunately your passengers on the train talk allot regarding story, but you won't be able to follow as you have to do mini-games, craft stuff or read other messages simultaneously.
Rarely there is some sound or background music, although when it comes in, it's pretty good! So I went through way too many 'stations', doing always the same while the story tries to unfold. It lacks horrible microscopic writings/letters in general and the mini-crafting of health packages or amo always drove me made, as the highlighting of positions where you actually are in the menue is so idiotic minimalistic, that I often ended up choosing the wrong option! Minimalistic is the word for the game, as the gameplay pretty soon gets very repetitive and even I really liked the pixel art style, it is just not enough flesh to keep it interesting - the music as well.
